Revival in Minneapolis

Oh my gosh. What can I say about this place that hadn't already been said?! The fried chicken is how you want it, crunchy or crunchy and spicy. The Mac and cheese is perfection. The burger is savory and cheesy without being greasy. Go here!! And get the mustard slaw.

Awesome place to have some food when in a rush. Their customer service is rapid, prices are reasonable, excellent vibes. Highly recommended

Love their fried chicken. Tennessee Hot or Southern Fried. Their Mac & Cheese is the best. Always get an extra to take home.

Wow revival is AMAZING! The food is great! If you end up going I suggest getting Mac and cheese it’s creamy and authentic! In restaurant is kinda busy though’ but you can order online quick and fast!

To start try the cheese curds and wings you will not be disappointed. The burger is melt in your mouth good and the Tennessee Hot chicken sandwich will make you want to go back every day it’s that good. Make sure to save room for dessert their pies are fantastic.

I love revival! One of the best spots for amazing wings and a seriously great chicken sandwich. But I’m sitting here now at the restaurant at the end of my meal slightly disappointed. The service was lackluster at best. The server barely said more then 10 words the whole time while at the same time her hands were on her hips. There was no small talk or energy from her at all. And the most unfortunate part was the food today. With it being a pandemic and the rushes are slower there is no time for the food to not be up to exceptional. The wings weren’t tender like usual. The collard greens weren’t seasoned enough nor soft enough. And lastly the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich seemed to have had no salt. I’ve been here plenty of times and have always thoroughly enjoyed these exact items. Times are tough and the last thing I want to do is bash anyone trying to keep their doors open. But when times are this tough the service has to be on point and the food can’t miss a beat!

Got take out and it was good. My friend told me the flavors use to taste amazing and more spicy. But I guess the food changed a little bit?

Open since 2015, through 5 years of business and a pandemic, their quality and service remain excellent. Enjoy this local hotspot in the Kingfield neighborhood.

Had the fried chicken and it was great. Called about 35 minutes before close to order a whole chicken. The staff was very accommodating when we showed up a few minutes later and asked to eat on the sidewalk patio until close.

Have been coming here for years- since they opened ! The food in the past was always great. The service top notch! Now- the owner/ management is no where to be found. The food, while good, lacks the extra that used to exist. The service - well let’s just say- horrible. 43$ got me 2 burger, 4 tomatoes fried, and 2 biscuits. They did not tell me that the tomatoes were not coming with salad as they have for the last 6 years. Took 1 hour. Rip off if you ask me compared to the past- amazing service , amazing food, in the past. Never again will I go there. They are working off their old reviews. You will be disappointed.
